    Es wird laut im Dezember. Zum mittlerweile 16. Mal steigt traditionell kurz vor Weihnachten Deutschlands größtes Indoor Heavy Metal Festival in Karlsruhe. Zum Abschluss der The Hard Circle Festivalreihe wird am 13.12.2025 ein großartiges Line Up in der Schwarzwaldhalle erwartet. Neben den Top Acts DIRKSCHNEIDER und EISBRECHER sind AXEL RUDI PELL, THUNDERMOTHER und FREEDOM CALL bestätigt. Außerdem werden GRAVE DIGGER ihr 45 jähriges Jubiläum feiern.

    Lynch Mob - Dancing With The Devil

    Der versierte Gitarrenmeister George Lynch ruft zum letzten Tanz; in dem Fall mit dem Teufel. In einem angeblich finalen Album möchte er noch einmal mit LYNCH MOB sein Vermächtnis manifestieren und klarstellen, dass er mehr als der Gitarrist von DOKKEN war. „Dancing With The Devil“ erscheint am 28. November 2025 via Frontiers Music. Die nach seiner Trennung von DOKKEN im Jahr 1989 gegründete Band existiert bis heute mit unzähligen Besetzungswechseln, zeigt sich jedoch auf „Dancing With The Devil“ mit dem eingespielt harmonischen Bandgefüge des Vorgängers „Babylon“ wieder mit Sänger Gabriel Colon, Bassist Jaron Gulino und Drummer Jimmy DÀnda.

    Treat - The Wild Card

    Schön mal wieder Neues von TREAT zu hören. Die 1981 gegründeten „Alten Schweden“, die zu ihrer Hochzeit immer etwas im Schatten des schwedischen Exportschlagers Nummer eins, EUROPE, standen und bereits 1986 als Support von QUEEN und beim Monsters Of Rock 1988 spielten, sind aber bis heute aktiver als ihre Landsmänner. Vorab gesagt: es gelingt TREAT auch mit ihrem neusten Longplayer, „The Wild Card“, den melodischen Stadionrock der Achtzigerjahre in modernem Gewand weiterzuführen.

    Patriarchs In Black - Home

    PATRIARCHS IN BLACK, das Doom-Projekt von dem ehemaligen TYPE O NEGATIVE/DANZIG-Schlagzeuger Johnny Kelly und dem Gitarristen und Songschreiber Dan Lorenzo (HADES/NON-FICTION) geht in die nächste, vierte Runde.

    Harkon - Love And Vore

    Aus NRW kommen HARKON aus dem NIGHT IN GALES/THE VERY END-Umfeld, welche sich hier auf ihrer ersten, vollen Scheibe (es gab 2019 noch eine EP) dem harten Rock mit Metalschlagseite und leicht progressiven Tendenzen verschrieben haben. Tolles Drumming, fantastische Bassläufe, präzises Uhrwerkdrumming, das auch ordentlich groovt und ein Sänger, der irgendwo zwischen Melancholie und Rage pendelt. Intelligente Arrangements treffen auf catchy Refrains und musikalischen Anspruch.

    Halestorm + Bloodywood (22.10.2025, Wiesbaden)

    Vor 13 Jahren traf ich im Schlachthof zum ersten Mal auf HALESTORM, damals als kaum bekannte Vorgruppe von ALTER BRIDGE. Ein überraschender und überaus denkwürdiger Abend mit zwei Bands die Vollgas gaben. Und natürlich haute mich diese Frau mit der Stimme wie ein Orkan aus den Socken. Seither begleite ich HALESTORM, deren Konzerte für meinen Geschmack zwar manchmal etwas (zu) kurz geraten, die aber immer großartige Rockmomente und ehrlichen Hard Rock liefern – gepaart mit viel Spielfreude und einer gehörigen Portion Humor. Ob Arejay Hales erstes Schlagzeugsolo mit den Riesenstöcken, Tortenschlachten auf der Bühne, alberne Gags der Crew, Geburtstagsständchen für Bandmitglieder, eine stockheisere Lzzy Hale, sagenhafte Duette mit ALTER BRIDGES´ Myles Kennedy, oder spontan eine Zugabe zusammen mit der Vorgruppe DEVILSKIN spielen. Langweilig wurde es über die Jahre nie mit HALESTORM!

    Umso größer ist an diesem Abend die Vorfreude auf dieses Déjà-vu mit HALESTORM, die im Rahmen ihrer nEVEREST Tour Station in Wiesbaden machen. Sold Out! heißt es im Schlachthof und trotzdem geht es hier wie immer angenehm entspannt zu. Die Halle ist früh bereits überaus gut gefüllt, denn viele der 1600 Fans freuen sich nicht nur auf HALESTORM, sondern sind auch äußerst gespannt auf den exotischen Support.

    Volbeat + Bush + Witch Fever (23.10.2025, Luxemburg (L))

    Die Bühne lässt Großes erwarten an diesem Abend in Luxemburg. Sie ist ungewöhnlich hoch und obwohl recht nüchtern gestaltet, macht sie ordentlich Eindruck. Im Hintergrund thront das zu Beginn noch verhangene mächtige VOLBEAT Drum Kit, das von etwas nach vorne versetzten amtlichen Marshall Verstärkerwänden eingerahmt wird; immer wieder gerne gesehen, sowas! Am rechten und linken Bühnenrand befinden sich zwei Podeste, im Vordergrund reicht ein großer Steg weit ins Publikum hinein. Beeindruckend auch die über der Bühne platzierten spektakulären Lichttraversen in Form eines siebenstrahligen Sterns. Das sind selten gesehene Dimensionen in der Rockhal. Man darf also sehr gespannt sein wie die Bands diese großen Flächen bespielen werden.
